I attended a workshop today in Concord on agricultural development and farmland preservation. The general legislature allocated $8 million in grant money for agricultural development projects and conservation easements. The deadline for grant applications is December14. The primary applicant must be a county agency or a non-profit conservation group. Please pass along to any interested parties.
